The Sandlot will be unavailable for approximately two to four hours starting at 9:00 am EDT (UTC - 4:00) on Wednesday, May 21. During this time, the server may appear to be online, but players will be unable to connect (you will receive an "under maintenance" message when trying) During this time, several updates will be installed. I hope to accomplish many fixes and upgrades, as well as the conversion of all player databases to the new UUID system in preparation for Minecraft version 1.8. At this time, I am also planning to do the reset of the Skyblock server. Following the reset, the old world file will be uploaded and made available for download for anyone to play on their own singleplayer world. This is not by any stretch an exhaustive list of what will be changing. Time will tell how much I am able to accomplish. Following the downtime, I will post a (mostly) exhaustive list of everything that has changed. This will not affect the website or forums, which will remain available for the duration.
Woohoo!! This is great! Thanks cheracc!! I've been dying to try skyblock but wanted to wait until the reset to start an island.
Thank you cheracc! And more importantly, thank you for being the only person for understanding that a D needs to be substituted for the middle time zone letter during DST! Awesome!
I've been refining to a fine 'T' my plans for the new Skyblock island. Now the race is on to get villagers before the 1.8 update RUINS the breeding system
Servers are back up. Unfortunately I ran into some problems with the Skyblock update, so it's going to take some time to get sorted out. I'll announce when it is back up. Hopefully it won't take me more than a day or two to figure it out.
Yay! Thanks cheracc!! Crossing my fingers for Skyblock. For those of you who haven't seen it yet, the lobby is...magical.
