First snapshot for 1.15 release today...added bees :)

Moving to 1.15 should be easy once we get 1.14.4 up to par.

Honestly though - I really thought Microsoft would do much more with their $3 Billion purchase of Minecraft. There are so many other possibilities. Bees...

Finally got an opportunity to test channeling tridents- passive mobs in claims, and pets, cannot be killed. However, entities that change when struck by lightning (villagers to witches, mooshrooms to brown mooshrooms, etc.) are converted even if they are in a claim.

Um... I beg your pardon here mister...
as this is a family-friendly server, I do hope you will please watch your language and not speak pejoratively about bees again publicly. As you may know, they are crucial pollinators, and some species are endangered. Now, I realize that jungle trolls may not eat, but most of us do, and we rely on aforementioned bees and other pollinators to grow such food.

    Also, bees are just awesome.

I think some food growth dynamic is affected, but wouldn’t it be nice if, for example, no food at all (wheat, carrots, beets, potatoes) would grow within a certain area unless there is a beehive present?!

I agree. Instead of doing something productive, they're wasting time redoing the textures so it looks like a fan of the game made their own resource pack. They've done some good with the newer updates, but they also make it more difficult on servers as a sorry attempt to convince people to switch to their limited, proprietary services.

    What a shame...

It seems to me that consolidating the many variants down to “Bedrock” and “Java” is not insignificant and may be just the beginning for Microsoft’s Minecraft. Many games spend a lot of time in development, while we are enjoying this one as it’s developed!

    You're welcome. :)

As for the version integration, that is a nice thing to bridge together, but it almost feels like they're spreading themselves too thin with it. There's at least fifteen different (and very unique) platforms you can play Minecraft on in some official form, meaning that doing this is a long process.

I've really enjoyed seeing how Minecraft has developed over time, but for the past few years, it seems as if Mojang refuses to listen to its audience enough. Sure, there are tons of people who play the game, but there are also some very popular opinions about what should be added that Mojang has given one-off excuses for, end of discussion. (Example: "It reduces creativity within the game" seems to be recycled a lot, which is a valid reason in a couple of cases, but definitely not all of them.)

The past couple of updates for the PC/Java version have actually been really cool, but it still shouldn't excuse them reconfiguring the game just to intimidate server owners. Mojang has done a lot of good in advancing the game using updates, which few games properly do, but they sometimes seem to use their own power against the players so they can get more money out of them. This is especially hurting the main PC/Java version of the game.
