We remembered! Drop parties were so much fun!

So we made a place especially for drop parties in the new Normal spawn. Now, when you are celebrating a special occasion, (maybe earning the next rank in Normal), you can bring valuables and toss them to eager players waiting below. We'll even make the alert for you!

Well, not so many as Hard server, but if you leave spawn running you might get a safe place before dark

 

I suggest that everyone knows (or learns) how to use the debug screen to figure out which cardinal direction they are headed....

 

There are lots of wild horses, so far, but no saddles. Hmmm

 

The live stream was lovely, and will be a cool video to rewatch in the future. The bases toured were amazing... and there were many more I am sure worth a visit. Check out the base listing on another thread! It's a great way to learn about farms or building styles, or just explore.

I like shopping at Mom-and-Pop stores more than the big box stores or shopping malls. How about you?

I heard a rumor that shops in the new Normal server will all be created by entrepreneurs who set up shops where they live and work. That sounds exciting!

But how will I find their shops? I did some research on the /qs find command, hoping it could help me.

It seems that this command will only reveal sought-after items within a range of 99 blocks.

I guess I'll have to find a good horse and get some saddlebags for my donkey when I go shopping. Seems like some traveling might be needed for my shopping needs.

Hmm, I wonder if anyone will make a traveling shop? We do have the wandering traders, but they only take emeralds and they have such limited trades.

Who will be the Amazon delivery of the Normal server, I wonder?

Overnight the range of the /qs find command was extended to 500 blocks!

While horses and pack animals will still be valuable for shopping, the search range is now five times longer than it was yesterday. Yippee!
