Sandlot Graduation Ceremony 2026 - June 6

We want to honor the hard work and achievements of those Sandlot players who are graduating this year. We are planning a celebration on Saturday, 6 June 2026, for all interested graduates.

Participant Criteria:

1. You are graduating this year (homeschool, public school, private school...) from your intermediate or senior level education program, or from post-secondary education. (Post-secondary education includes college/university graduations for anyone earning an Associate, Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral degree, or anyone earning a Technical/Trade/Vocational School Certification.)

In the spoiler are my best estimates of equivalencies for USA, Canada, UK, and Australia education programs (with some help from international players). *Please resist the urge to quibble about the international equivalences. Use your best judgement to decide if your graduation is a recognized milestone that only occurs every 3-4 years in your education system during your teenage or adult years.

Post-Secondary Education Programs

• In the US, you are graduating from a college/university, a vocational/trade school, or community college workforce education program.
• In Canada, you are graduating from an institute, college, or university.
• In the UK, you are graduating from a university or a vocational school.
• In Australia, you are earning a degree from a university or a diploma/certificate from a college.

Senior Education Programs

• In the US, you are graduating from High School.
• In Canada, you are graduating from High School.
• In the UK, you are graduating from a Further Education College, Sixth Form College, or Vocational/Specialist College.
• In Australia, you are graduating from year 12 or Senior High School.

Intermediate Education Programs

• In the US, you are completing Middle School/Junior High School.
• In Canada, you are completing grade 8/9 or Middle School/Junior High School.
  
• In the UK, you are completing Key Stage 4 or GCSEs.
• In Australia, you are completing year 9 or Junior High School.
