Scheduled Downtime: Friday July 4

I am again scheduling some downtime on Friday July 4 from 8:00 to 10:00 am EDT (UTC-4) to install and configure updated permissions (to prepare for 1.8 and UUIDs), the new custom chat plugin, as well as several plugin updates. I expect downtime to be brief, but unforeseen circumstances may arise that requires me to use the whole 2 hours (or more).

This is a major update to the server - changing much of the down-and-dirty-underneath-behind-the-scenes stuff - and as such, there are likely to be bugs or other issues that will need to be resolved, possibly requiring several restarts throughout the day. I have done (and will continue to do) as much testing as possible on these new systems prior to deploying them on Monday, but there will likely be things I've missed.

During this time, the Sandlot Store will also be unavailable, and may remain unavailable for some time after the maintenance is complete in order for me to update it to properly utilize the updated permissions system.

Will the test server be down during the downtime?

Due to some real-life events today that prevented my planned work on the test server, I again need to delay this maintenance until Friday. I will update the main post as well.

Along with this, the test server will likely remain up until Thursday night. I will be bringing the remainder of the servers online tonight and tomorrow for testing.
