Skyblock will be closing November 22nd with a grand reopening on November 28th!

@SilentGhast and I had a lot of fun teaming up one round for sure! Good times.

We are closing the third Sandlot skyblock world after the tour today and we will be opening the fourth. Some of us have played in all of them!

My favorite Skyblock moment was when ghasts and blazes started spawning in the Skyblock overworld and attacking, and explosions and fire were fully enabled too! Half my huge island burned down! It was AWESOME! Hmm... I wonder if we should do that again... maybe I should make my island mostly out of stone...

Hopefully this round will have some fun mishaps too!

 

I think it looks great and have added it to the list. I put you in the middle of the tour.

 

It was so much fun to watch biz host the farewell tour and to see everyone's islands! Thank you to everyone who joined and shared in the memories of Skyblock. I hope this has invigorated everyone to play the new Skyblock opening next week!

Thank you for featuring my Skyblock island! I know it was never the most practical (and perhaps slightly bare in some parts), but I'm glad that people like the overall design!

I may have went back and watched that part of the replay afterwards... hehe

I have been busy between wrapping up my degree and planning for the holidays, but I am glad to see it being featured! (I should hopefully have more time around a month from now to play more often in-game.)

I hope that everyone enjoys the new Skyblock!

Who's ready to relearn how to start Skyblock from nearly nothing? I have been remembering how long we spend waiting for crops to grow to complete the first tranche of challenges...

And early game phantoms... mining cobblestone under a roof at night until we have a bed.

Then, before you know it, we're having a farewell tour.

 

If you kill your sheep from cobblestone challenge, you can make a bed and be able to work at night.

Sadly I will miss the grand reopening of Skyblock. I'm going to be celebrating Thanksgiving on Friday and will be gone most of the day. I should be able to join on Saturday though!
