When I heard 'this is the end' I was like "WHAT?!? Noooo!" Cause i thought it was some server getting reset.
Wish I could be there, but will be out-of-town. (Darn it, will have to wait for RW End or Dragon respawn for dragon's breath, I suppose) Have fun everyone!
For those that do not know, the dragon shoots dragons breath onto the ground now and you can pick it up with glass bottles. So make sure to bring some. In addition to the regular world End, the resource world End will have a dragon to kill and we will be able to spawn more dragons in the resource world. Players can re-spawn the ender dragon once the fight is completed, by placing four ender crystals atop the exit portal, one on each side. We plan to have all future ender dragon fights in the resource world. Elytra can not be crafted and there are not that many in the End as you may be aware. They will go fast. Each month the resource world will be reset and more Elytra will be available. So best to plan on adventuring right after the dragon fight. Also, try not to take more than one Elytra per player as we have a lot of players that are going to be looking for them. I could see that someone may want to sell their Elytra for a nice profit. Please try not to farm Elytras for sale for a few months so players adventuring can find them on their own.
The egg from the event on Saturday will go on display in Atlantis. You will be able to get future eggs to keep for yourself by defeating the dragon as many times as you wish. A word on the egg. Don't try and touch it when it falls or it will transport away. You have to pick it up in a special way.
I have a question. If we need Dragon's Breath to rank up, How are we going to rank up after the Dragon is kill?
Don't forget to bring a bunch of boats. You can use them to trap endermen so you can either kill them or keep them from attacking. They can't teleport out of boats.
Shops sell things...People buy things if they think the price is reasonable...There is no need to warn people.
