A lot has happened since I went on vacation. There are many plugin updates that need to be performed.

All servers will be offline for 30 minutes or less tonight. Other updates will be performed server by server, and I will do my best to minimize downtime and not disrupt anyone's Sandlot play time.

I am planning on doing some maintenance tonight, in about 12 hours or so from this post.

I probably won't be able to complete everything, but my main goals are:

• Remove the HorseKeep plugin on SVS and Easy (no more teleporting horses! ).
• Update LWC to protect all door types as well as armor stands and minecarts with chests and hoppers
• See if I can figure out the problem with the nether fortress in Easy nether spawn
• Update Build Battle to a new version
• Remove the flower pot kit from Hide and Seek (does anyone even play this game anymore?)
• Try to fix lingering bugs with Jobs in Easy

Minecon 2016 will be in Anaheim, California this year on Sept. 24-25, at the Anaheim Convention Center--right across the street from Disneyland!

I will update this thread as details are finalized, but there will probably be some kind of Sandlot meet up at some point during the convention.

I haven't heard from @cheracc or any other moderators yet if they got tickets.

I will be there with @9legopro and @PrincessPolite, and I want to meet you all! Hugs are mandatory!

Hooray! I performed all the same updates in Easy that I did for Semi-Vanilla, except for plugins we don't use like cooldowns or chest shops. I have taken a full backup of Easy, so let me know ASAP if there are any issues!

Yes, you heard me right! I have updated Semi-Vanilla Survival to actually, truly, really, really, Minecraft 1.8. I looked around, and it appears that nearly everything is just fine. One exception is that some shop chests that had banners or slime blocks in them no longer work. There might be other issues with 1.8 items too. Try to recreate the chest shop if you have an issue with that and hopefully it will just work.

Other notable changes are:

• Lockette has been removed.
• The plugin for trails has been updated to the same version as in the Lobby.
• The plugin that handles /home, /tpa, /bal, /spawn, etc. and keeps track of money and balances has been updated.
• The cooldown plugin has been updated to the latest version. If there are any exploits with cooldowns no longer working for your rank, you need to tell me ASAP.
• Several other "behind the scenes" plugins have been updated, which may or may not cause issues with...

In an attempt to simplify VIP pricing and make it more accessible, we will be changing the costs of renewing Sandlot VIP:

What is Changing?

• There will be no more "family" packages (VIP for Two, etc.)
• The first month of VIP will remain at $15 per Minecraft account for one month (same as it is now for a single player)
• After the first month, VIP membership will only cost $5.65 per month to maintain or renew
• You do not have to keep VIP "current" to keep the $5.65 per month pricing. Once you have purchased the initial month for $15, you will be able to renew your VIP membership for $5.65 anytime you want.

What if I already have VIP?

If you currently have a subscription set up, you will need to cancel that subscription via PayPal, and renew by selecting the new package that costs $5.65. You can set this package up as a subscription, or you can purchase it month-by-month. We are...

Semi-Vanilla Survival will be unavailable for several hours. No other servers will be affected or taken offline. The maintenance will consist of updating the claims plugin to the newest version available for our server software, which supports UUIDs.

All servers will be unavailable for a short time, and the rest of the maintenance window will require restarts and additional downtime in most servers (one at a time). The website will also be unavailable for a short time. I will be online at the time and informing you via in-game chat when I need to restart or take down a particular server. The maintenance will consist of security updates for the underlying OS, plugin updates, and website updates.
