Hard Teams Event opening Saturday July 1 @Noon eastern time!
Hard will be closed Wednesday night in preparation for the opening of Hard Teams Event ON July 1 at noon eastern time. Hard will reset with a mostly Vanilla world (we reserve the right to include surprises), and four teams will compete to see which one can win the event!
Anyone can join, new players to Hard are welcome as this is the perfect time to join forces with experienced teammates and play on the Hard server. Player scores will be totalled for each team to determine the final placements at the end of July. More players = more scores for that team so recruiting could matter a lot here!

Hello everyone!
I proposed some changes several years ago to the Adventure server, which you can read about here: https://www.sandlotminecraft.com/threads/adventure-discussion-feedback-requested.35706/
I am going to begin implementing these changes soon, and I need your help. One of the things I am planning on doing is "polishing" the Hogwarts map. What this means is that I need everyone who can help to go into Adventure and look for the following list of things, and posting either the coordinates and a description of what you found, or a screenshot with your F3 debug menu on so I can see the coordinates and what you are looking at:

- Monster spawner blocks
- Floating leaves or blocks that look out of place
- Blocks like stairs or chests that are sideways/backwards
- Broken signs or redstone devices
- Signs with typos on them
- Areas that seem like they should not be accessible
- Holes in the barrier/glass wall that shouldn't be there

We want to honor the hard work and achievements of those Sandlot players who are graduating this year. We are planning a celebration on Saturday, 3 June 2023, for all interested graduates.
Participant Criteria:
1. You are graduating this year (homeschool, public school, private school...) from your intermediate or senior level education program, or from post-secondary education. (Post-secondary education includes college graduations for anyone earning an Associate, Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral degree, or anyone earning a Trade School Certification.)
In the spoiler are my best estimates of equivalencies for USA, Canada, UK, and Australia education programs. If you are graduating from your country's intermediate or senior education program, and want to participate, please let us know.

Hi everyone!
Our payment gateway, Tebex, has updated their platform, which is forcing us to change how we process VIP payments. I will go over what the changes are, the purpose of the new VIP+ package, what you will need to do if you are a current VIP, and answer any questions you may have.
Payments and Sales Tax/VAT
The biggest change is that payments will be processed directly through Tebex now, instead of through Paypal. It also means that you will now (unfortunately) be charged sales tax or VAT. Please note that you can still pay through Paypal, if you wish. You will be able to see all of your payment history, and cancel any recurring VIP subscriptions you have through Tebex now, instead of Paypal.
VIP+ Package
With this change, Tebex is taking a larger fee from your payment, meaning The Sandlot gets less (even though you are paying more, including the sales tax/VAT). I did not want to change the current VIP price, but with us getting a...

The time has come to say farewell to the current Normal Survival map, with a grand reopening on June 11th at 12:00 pm (noon) EDT!
We will publish a separate announcement thread with details on the new Normal server, but here is what you need to know for now.
Is the map being reset?
Yes. It will have the new Caves and Cliffs terrain and features!
Will I lose my items, claims, and balance?
Yes.
What Minecraft version will the new Normal server use?
1.18.2.
Will I be able to download the current map to play in single player?
Yes. Put all your inventory items into a chest on your claim before the reset, since player inventories will be wiped in the map download. Write down the coordinates of your base so you can find it again.

Starting February 19th, the Sandlot will now be hosting monthly birthday parties for everyone that has a birthday that month.
This will include games, prizes, and certainly lots of partying as a way to celebrate your birthdays!
The first birthday party to kick this off will be February 19th, at 3PM EST. This party with also include January birthdays, since that is the only month that's gone by. However, the following parties will always be the second Saturday of each month. (There will be a new post or thread created that contains the date and when there's going to be a new one.)
Please do not share your actual date of birth without permission from your parent or guardian.* This is just to generally celebrate all birthdays of that certain month.
